I feel like I am in heaven!
After a day spent at Hotel Caeli, the distinguished Seçkin Pirim expressed his feelings in this way, and with this inspiration, he designed the impressive work “Gate of Heaven”. A wine glass is hidden in the shadow of “Gate of Heaven”, which is just one of the works hosted by Hotel Caeli and has layers that symbolize the first 100 years of viticulture full of hardships.
Who is Seçkin Pirim?
Born in 1977 in Ankara, the sculptor deals with the minimal language of layers and variations of geometric forms in his works. Pirim defines sculptures as beings who know what they want to tell without saying too much. The artist, who puts different materials into forms based on a deep story, reveals them through various methods in which he uses a concrete expression of artistic ideas.
